
Located on the historic grounds of the former Erie Canal, the Erie Canal Pickleball Center in DeWitt, New York, is set to open in January 2025. This premier indoor facility will feature nine dedicated courts, a full-service bar and restaurant, locker rooms, online court reservations, and membership options.

FACILITY RULES
Arrival and Check-In:
Members must check in at the front desk before using the courts.
By participating as either a spectator or participant in facility activities, you assume all inherent risk and responsibilities of doing so, and therefore participate at your own risk.

All visitors and participants are expected to show respect and courtesy to others
All visitors and participants are expected to check-in at the front desk upon arrival
Read and abide by all posted signs and warnings and cooperate with facility staff
Any person utilizing the facilities or participating in facility activities must sign a liability waiver
Coaches and managers must supervise and take responsibility for their players and guests
Parents or Legal Guardians are responsible for their children’s behavior while not participating in activities
Refrain from running, jogging or engaging in similar warm-up activities on the facility concourse
Refrain from entering your court area until the prior participants have departed
When walking behind other courts while in-play, please wait until the current point has finished before passing
During play, if your ball interrupts another court, loudly yell “BALL” to alert other participants
Spitting is not permitted in the indoor facility
Proper attire and athletic equipment must be worn while utilizing the facilities or participating in activities;
Proper shirts, bottoms & non-marking shoes should be worn at all times
Spectators are asked to remain in the designated viewing areas
In the event of an injury please allow officials and facility staff to provide instruction;
If a parent/guardian is not available then facility staff reserve the right to seek emergency care for the injured persons, including ambulance assistance or hospital care
Refrain from smoking on the premises; this includes e-cigarettes & ‘vape’ pens
Alcohol is not permitted outside of the designated area(s); please drink responsibly
Outside food and drink are not permitted at any time; glass bottles of any kind are not permitted on the courts
Pets are not permitted; if you require a service animal, please speak with management prior to your arrival
The facility is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property; lost & found storage is located in the main office, items found will be retained for a short period of time only
Refrain from participation while under the influence of any drugs which could impact your performance, or alcohol; participation may be denied
You must not continue to use the facility, or continue to participate in facility activities if you discover any dangerous and defective condition, and you must immediately report the same to facility management.
It is your duty as a spectator and/or participant to report any injuries or violations to the Facility Manager, or the Manager-On-Duty, immediately.
What is Pickleball?
